Ingredients:
1 can condensed milk
450g chopped chocolate
2 tbsp butter
2 tsp vanilla extract
1 ½ cups chopped nuts (walnuts or pecans best)
Line a tin with tinfoil. Melt together slowly the condensed milk, chocolate and butter on a double boiler or over a simmering pot of water. Don't boil it!!
Remove from the heat and add the vanilla and the nuts. Spread this mixture in a tin and leave to cool on the bench til room temperature. Refrigerate.
Note: This is my big sister's recipe. Great chopped into wee squares and given as gifts to people.
